How to Rebirth in ASMR Speed Escape

Rebirth is the official long-term button. The Roblox description says it plainly: rebirth for powerful multipliers. Players still treat it like a punishment because the Speed counter goes back down. This page is the argument for pressing it on time, plus the few cases where you should wait one more lap.

Button Labs has not posted a public table of “rebirth 7 requires level 125.” Other +1 Speed wikis copy those tables from Keyboard Escape. Do not bring them here. The rule that still works without a spreadsheet: if the game is offering a rebirth, you are probably late, not early.

What rebirth is for

A rebirth spends your current Speed pile and returns a multiplier on future ticks. The fantasy is the same as every incremental runner: the second hour should grow faster than the first. If your second hour feels identical, you did not rebirth, or you rebirth’d and then stood still.

You play +1 ASMR Speed Escape to escape further. Further requires Speed. Speed per step is the only way the fifth stage is not a joke. Multipliers are how per-step stays relevant after the novelty of Keyboard Keys wears off.

What you should do before you tap it

1. Spend any flat gift from daily and group rewards. Walk it onto a floor. Do not donate a brand-new claim to the reset.
2. Bank a nearby Win. Pads you can reach now may feel far after the counter drops. See how to farm Wins.
3. Note which stage you can actually finish at this Speed. After rebirth you will return to an easier floor, usually Keyboard Keys.
4. Confirm you are not about to disconnect. A mid-click lag spike is a bad story.

Then press the rebirth control. In this genre it is usually a prominent HUD button, not a hidden NPC. If you cannot find it, you are not eligible yet — keep moving.

What you keep and what you lose

Expect to lose the current Speed total. That is the point. Expect to keep account progress that is not the Speed pile: group membership, daily streak if the game tracks one, cosmetics you already bought, and the fact that you know the stage routes.

Wins are usually kept in this genre. Treat that as a working assumption, then verify on your own HUD the first time. If Wins drop to zero, stop rebirth-chaining until you understand the shop. If Wins stay, you just converted a Speed flex into a quieter, stronger account.

When waiting is correct

Wait if a Win pad is one safe jump away. Wait if you have not claimed today’s gift. Wait if you are teaching a friend the controls and a reset would confuse the session.

Do not wait because the number looks nice. Do not wait because a YouTuber on a different game said rebirth 11 needs level 225. Do not wait because you are scared of Keyboard Keys again. You already beat Keyboard Keys at a worse multiplier.

After the reset

Go back to a safe floor. Rebuild the tick. The getting started loop still applies: gifts if available, Keys, one Win, next rebirth. The speed planner exists so you do not invent a new religion every session.

If the rebuild is not faster, you either rebirth’d without a real multiplier (button was cosmetic) or you hopped onto Water Drops out of boredom. Rank floors with the stage tier list and the boost tier list.

Rebirth and other people

Servers hold 20 players. Someone will rebirth next to you and suddenly look slow. Do not mock them; they just bought the same upgrade you should be buying. The players hub covers racing etiquette. A rebirth in a crowded lobby can also desync your camera — rejoin if the floor teleports under you.

Scripts that auto-rebirth exist on the scripts hub. They also exist to get accounts banned. If the only reason you will not press the button is laziness, press the button. If the reason is risk, read script safety and then still press the button yourself.
